Spreads from underground shoots and produces short stems with dainty bells of glistening purple in summer. A very lovely and easily grown Bellflower, happy in most reasonable soils. Prefers sun. Always popular - it's hard to resist those little bells. 7cm (3") high.
An ideal plant for growing among paving stones - it will send out shoots to emerge from cracks where it can see the sun. Or let it run around stones on a rockery.
