From the rosettes of dark, fleshy leaves, stems of large flowers appear in late spring/early summer. It makes quite an impact with the amount of flowers and the array of colours - new flowers are often apricot shaded, turning dark pink and then bright and pale pink as they age.
An excellent, free-flowering, easy-care Lewisia suitable for every garden, only asking for free-draining soil and sunshine. Looks stunning (and grows well) in any type of pot or container. About 12 to 15cm (5" or 6") high.
Little Plum is very weather (i.e. rain) resistant, unlike some Lewisia. It will survive our cold and wet conditions here all winter, without any protection.
