An unusual, and uncommon, dwarf 'whipcord' Hebe from New Zealand. The leaves (such as they are) are clasped tightly along the stems and are deep olive-green in colour, slightly brighter near the tips. It makes a nice specimen in a large trough or on a rock garden with a good layer of gravel or grit around it to show off the stems.
We find it easy to grow but it's slow, and it's very hardy. Will grow up to 15 - 20cm, (6" - 8") high with a slowly spreading habit.
