Another early season Primula that flowers before the leaves fully emerge. 'Peter Klein' is rosy pink, darker than 'Johanna', but with similar yellow centres. The first flowers appear nestled into the clumps and soon develop stalks which hold them above the emerging leaves. Very pretty.
Easy to grow in a slightly moist soil and perhaps with some light shade in hotter parts of the country. Ideal in front of deciduous shrubs - you will see the flowers then the shrubs' leaves will offer a bit of shade.
