Delicate-looking pink flowers with yellow centres nestled among greyish, shamrock leaves in late spring. This grows from clumps of scaly bulbs which grow just below ground level. Only 5cm (2") high.
Hailing from places like Chile and the Falkland Islands, this is a hardy little plant that does well in full sunshine and a well-drained, moisture retentive soil. Also does well in a trough or container so long as not too dry.
