Chrysanthemum weyrichii

A neat plant that will creep slowly underground, pushing up clusters of shiny, cut leaves. Big fat buds appear in spring and open into these huge, pale pink, yellow-eyed flowers on 10cm (4") stems. 

Not so commonly seen in recent years but a lovely, unusual plant that is easy to grow in a gritty soil in open sunshine. The flowers last well so it's a plant that looks good for a long time..
