Tall reddish stems, little pinky-white flowers in spring.
Neat mounds of mid-green rosettes push up reddish flowering stems in late spring. These quickly extend to about 20 to 25cm (8" to 10") in height before the little pink and white flowers open, giving a lovely, airy effect.
It is one of those plants that just look so pretty and delicate; it's difficult not to like it. And it's a good, easy grower too - it overwinters here outside and no matter how harsh the weather it always looks good in the spring. Compact enough for a trough and should be planted where its tallish stems can be seen to advantage.
