Neat mounds of mid-green rosettes push up reddish flowering stems in late spring. These quickly extend to about 15 to 20cm (6" to 8") in height before the little pink and white flowers open, giving a lovely, airy effect.
It is one of those plants that just look so pretty and delicate; it's difficult not to like it. And it's a good, easy grower too - it overwinters here outside and no matter how harsh the weather it always looks good in the spring. Looks perfect planted in a stone trough.
