This is a really small, compact grower - small enough for trailing over the edge of trough. In fact, we sometimes struggle to find enough fresh growth big enough for cuttings. Fresh growth (especially where it's not too starved) can be very hairy and silver. Lots of little pinkish mauve flowers in summer. Only 3cm (about 1") high.
We have seen a lot of small thymes over the years - labelled as Minor, Minus, Minimus etc. - but in our opinion, this one is the 'real deal'.
