One of the best and hardiest of the white flowering varieties, 'Maischnee' (or 'May Snow' as we used to know it) is a wonderful plant. It does grow more vigorously than the other Phlox douglasii types but is still compact and it responds well to hard trimming if required - best done after flowering. Pale green foliage.  About 7 to 10cm high (3" or 4")
