A chance seedling we found years ago and have been slowly building up a stock. A pretty plant with large white flowers, each flower with strong purple/carmine veins leading to a darker eye. Grey Shamrock type foliage. About 7cm (3") high.
Similar to the other Oxalis we offer, this also grows from shallow underground tubers which slowly clump-up. The little grey leaves emerge in spring soon followed by the flowers in late spring and into summer. A good grower that does very well here. All these Oxalis prefer a slightly moist soil containing a bit more organic matter but they are quite tolerant little plants.
Perfect in a selected spot on the rock garden or in a stone trough etc.
