Hookeri
- Tiny, pear-shaped, cob-webbed rosettes.
A charming little gem that will form small colonies of pale green, pear-shaped, red-tinged rosettes with tiny offsets, all nicely cob-webbed. Very neat and compact but grows quite quickly. Heads of pink flowers in summer on 7cm (3") stems. An easy grower that will succeed even in cold, wet areas - but best in a gritty soil. Very popular with our customers and we like it too.
The plant pictured here growing on a stone wall was from a fallen piece of plant higher up and it survives here growing on, apparently - nothing! No soil. But it has taken several years to reach this size. Ideal for planting in a stone trough or tucked into a sunny crevice.
