Green leaves with violet-purple bases in large rosettes.
Large rosettes with green-tipped leaves, the leaf bases a rich, violet-purple. A handsome, easy-growing plant that does well in most situations.

Sent as well-rooted, established plants, still in their pots.
The last two photos show a cristate form - a rare but natural mutation whereby a rosette develops in this curious, crested shape. People often prize these oddities - some cristate forms can remain stable and be grown on and propagated. Only some varieties produce cristate rosettes, and even then only occasionally. If you don't like them, simply remove the affected rosette.
We only offer the usual form, not the cristate form - I only show it here for reference. But if these interest you, please enquire, we might just have a cristate one we could send you.
