Alsterherbst

Yellow and tan colours make this variety stand out along with its tight, clump-forming habit. An excellent variety, still very 'young' in Semp terms and rarely offered in the UK. Doesn't provide us that many offsets from which we can increase our numbers but it's a variety very worth growing.

'Alster' is the grower's prefix name for his more recent introductions, 'herbst' is autumn in German.
