Red Spider makes nice colonies of small rosettes, very red in spring and with good cobwebbing - the silvery cobweb strands stand out well against the red leaves. In summer the rosettes retain a bit of red around the edge with the centres more silvery grey.
Attractive all year round but hard to resist in spring. A small, neat grower even though it produces numerous offsets.
One of our all-time favourites that we have grown for many years - it never disappoints. It's a tough and weather-resistant little spider!
