A very good dark purple-leafed variety, 'Jungles Shadows' remains dark all year round. When it was introduced by Kevin C. Vaughn (USA) in 1969 is was hailed as the darkest available and won a Silver Medal.

Things have moved on and we now have even darker colours available but 'Jungle Shadows' is still a terrific Houseleek with alluring colours.
