Tintenblut

An adorable dark variety from Erwin Geiger, the name translates as 'Ink Blood'. The colour is deep claret, almost black in spring and the leaves are edged with silvery hairs. Very fine.

These 'black' varieties aren't easy to capture in a photo - they always look better in real life.
