  • Plum purple leaves cast with silvery hairs.

This is a stunning plant in spring, the silver hairs over the plum-coloured leaves gives a dramatic effect, especially with some protection from excess rain. The colour lightens in summer but still very pretty. The smaller rosettes huddle tightly in dense cushions.
