El Toro

A larger variety with solid, bold rosettes making stout clumps. The leaves are dark wine-red at the base with greyish watermarked tips.

Received an Award of Merit the same year it was released then a Bronze Rosette the following year from the former Sempervivum Society. A fine old variety (over half a century!) that still does well.
