Broad fleshy leaves arranged very symmetrically in bold, medium to large-sized rosettes. The colour is rich, dark red all year but best in spring. It will make a striking dome of rosettes in time. The large rosettes look fine in a clay, terracotta pot or be adventurous with a coloured glaze.
In a universe of Sempervivum cultivars, Dyke always attracts admirers.
