Vergilia

Attractive red tones all year - darker in early spring, brighter in summer, as is the the norm. This could apply to any number of Semp varieties but we really rate this one. 'Vergilia' doesn't have any single stand-out feature but it has good shape and symmetry and is one of those plants that just looks 'good'. What's more, it grows extremely well, is compact but increases well with the babies tucked in tightly to their mother (something we always like) and, importantly for us - it doesn't mind our often cool, wet weather.

Rarely seen but should be more popular.
